What are the RF characteristics of the SMT903 RF Front-end?

  • The SMT903 operates in the 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz bands.
  • The performance of the SMT903 is degrading in frequency. So the most power is usually at 2.3GHz and the least at 2.7GHz.
  • If the output power is an important parameter, you can increase it a little bit by optimizing some of the values in the MAX2837 IC registers. However 20dB will be about the maximum output power that can be reached.
