Steps to install Sundance drivers under Windows 10 64 bit. This example is for the “Insider Preview”. If the final release is different, this guide will be updated.

In this example we show you a USB board, but the process should be the same for other computer interfaces too.

1: Get the latest version of the SMT6300.

The easiest way of doing this is to download the Sundance Wizard (Sundance Wizard) and run that.

It will also check that you have the latest versions of the other software we produce.

If you want / need just SMT6300, please ask us via your support forum (Support) and we will supply the latest files.

2: Connect and power on your Sundance USB device.

Check in the device manager that it has been detected. In the video that accompanies these instructions, we are installing a SMT111.

You should see the SMT111 listed under “Other Devices” with a ! next to it. This is normal.

3: Reboot the PC to “Disable driver signature enforcement”

Go to “Settings” from the Start menu.

Select “Update & Security”.

From the menu on the left select “Recovery”.

On the right you will see “Advanced start-up”. Click the “Restart now” button. Your PC will ask you to “Please wait” .

In the next menu, select “Troubleshoot”, then select “Advanced options”.

Select “Start-up Settings”.

This next page tells you the options you will have when you press the “Restart” button. Press the “Restart” button.

Now your PC will restart.

You will be presented with a menu. As we want to Disable driver signature enforcement, we need option 7. Press the function key “F7”.

Windows will now boot.

4: Run through the install wizard for SMT6300.

Once booted, execute the install of SMT6300.

You will need to accept the installation of the "Jungo device software"

Next you will be asked if you want to install the driver software. It will say that "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software". You need to click "Install this driver software anyway".

There will be a couple of these pop-ups. You need to click "Install this driver software anyway" on all of them.

You will also see some pop-ups saying "Windows requires a digitally signed driver". Click close on these boxes.

5: Re open the "Device manager" and you will now see the Sundance board has been correctly detected and is ready for use.

You may either see that the Sundance device is now listed under USB devices and is now all OK, or you may still see it listed under “other devices” with a ! next to it.

If the latter is the case, select the Sundance board and press the Delete key on your keyboard. Either power cycle the board, or right click and scan for new devices. The Sundance board should now be found and should now be ready to use.
